A Glimpse of a Miracle: Amahl and the Night Visitors

The centerpiece of our celebration is a staged presentation of excerpts from Gian Carlo Menotti's enchanting one-act opera, Amahl and the Night Visitors. Follow the touching story of the poor, disabled boy Amahl and his weary Mother, whose lives are forever changed one winter night by the arrival of three majestic kings following a star.

You will be captivated by scenes including the hopeful "Don’t Cry Mother Dear," the majestic entrance of the Kings in "From Far Away," and the poignant "Oh, Woman, you may keep the gold." With a talented cast of soloists including Essie as the Mother and Renila as the spirited Amahl, this timeless tale of generosity and faith will warm your heart.
